Scope

This part of GB/T 2423 provides a standard test method process for determining the ability of components, equipment, and other products (hereinafter referred to as "samples") to withstand specified severity sinusoidal vibration. If the test requires a non-packaged form, it indicates that the tested samples are unpackaged. However, if the test requires the samples to be packaged, use the packaged products and consider the products and their packaging as a single tested sample.
The purpose of this test is to identify the mechanical weak points and/or reduced characteristics of the samples. Using this information, combined with relevant specifications, it is possible to determine whether the samples are acceptable. In some cases, this test method can be used to demonstrate the mechanical integrity of the samples and/or study their dynamic characteristics. Components can also be classified according to their ability to withstand different severity levels of this test.
