GB/T 16701-2010 Methods for measuring the thermoelectric force of noble metal and base metal thermocouple wires
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the method of measuring the thermoelectric force of precious metal and base metal thermocouple wires using the comparative method.
This standard applies to the measurement of the thermoelectric force of precious metal thermocouple wires with grade numbers S, R, and B (hereinafter referred to as S-type, R-type, and B-type thermocouple wires) within temperature ranges of 300 °C to 1,600 °C, and the measurement of the thermoelectric force of base metal thermocouple wires with grade numbers K, T, E, J, and N (hereinafter referred to as K-type, T-type, E-type, J-type, and N-type thermocouple wires) within temperature ranges of -196 °C to 1,200 °C. Other types of precious metal and base metal thermocouple wires can also be used as reference. This standard does not apply to the measurement of the thermoelectric force of armored thermocouple materials.
