This procedure is applicable to the verification of the free-field voltage sensitivity level of underwater hydrophones with a frequency range of 500 Hz to 1 MHz that are newly manufactured, in use, or repaired, and also to the calibration of the emission current or emission voltage response level of underwater acoustic transmitters within this frequency range.
