Scope

This document describes the methods for determining the arsenic, antimony, and bismuth content in copper concentrates and copper slag concentrates using hydrogenide generation-atomic fluorescence spectrometry (Method 1), potassium bromate titration (Method 2), and silver diethyldithiocarbamate spectrophotometry (Method 3).
This document is applicable to the determination of arsenic, antimony, and bismuth content in copper concentrates and copper slag concentrates. Method 1 has a determination range of 0.010% to 1.00% for arsenic, 0.010% to 1.00% for antimony, and 0.010% to 1.00% for bismuth; Method 2 has a determination range of 0.10% to 4.50% for arsenic; and Method 3 has a determination range of 0.010% to 0.40% for arsenic.
