Scope
This standard applies to the management of major water pollutants such as chemical oxygen demand, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus, and colorimetry discharged by key controlled industries such as textile dyeing and finishing, papermaking and paper products, food processing and manufacturing into the Lianjiang River Basin, as well as urban wastewater treatment plants. It also applies to the environmental impact assessment, environmental protection facility design, and completion environmental protection acceptance of new, renovated, and expanded projects, and the management of water pollutant discharges after their commissioning. Among these, the textile dyeing and finishing industry should, in accordance with the relevant requirements of the "Comprehensive Water Environment Improvement Plan for the Lianjiang River Basin", be fully relocated to industrial parks and centralized for pollution control.
