Scope

This standard specifies the basic parameters and product composition, technical requirements, test methods, as well as labeling, packaging, and other requirements for Q-switched Nd:YAG laser ophthalmic treatment machines.
This standard applies to Q-switched Nd:YAG laser ophthalmic treatment machines (hereinafter referred to as treatment machines). The treatment machines use laser pulses with a wavelength of 1,064 nm to achieve photodissociation/photoinduced explosion of human tissue, which is used for incision and removal of anterior segment tissues to achieve the purpose of treatment.
