Scope

This part of GB/T 14057 specifies the method of testing and evaluating the difficulty of removing radioactive contamination from surfaces under laboratory conditions. This part is applicable to evaluating the difficulty of removing radioactive contamination from the surfaces of metals, non-metals, various coatings, and floor covering materials for the purpose of material selection. This part is not applicable to the selection of materials for process systems that are exposed to contaminated media under high temperatures and pressures for a long time, nor to the evaluation of the difficulty of removing radioactive contamination from actual contaminated surfaces in the field.
