Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for the lateral stability of heavy commercial vehicle trains, trucks, and center-axle trailers, as well as articulated passenger cars. This standard applies to trucks and trailers with a total mass exceeding 3.5 tons, and articulated passenger cars with a total mass exceeding 5 tons, namely vehicles classified as N2, N3, O3, O4, and M3 according to GB/T 15089.
