Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, safety performance, inspection conditions, inspection methods, marking and packaging of gear helix measuring instruments.
This standard is applicable to gear helix measuring instruments (hereinafter referred to as "helix measuring instruments") that can measure gears with a modulus of not less than 0.5 mm and a top-round diameter of not more than 600 mm.
