This part specifies the accuracy system for the tooth flanks on the same side of a single involute cylindrical gear.
This part specifies the definitions of various accuracy terms for gear teeth, the structure of the gear accuracy system, and the allowable values of tooth pitch deviation, total tooth profile deviation, and total helical line deviation.
This part only applies to each element of a single gear, and does not include gear pairs.
