Scope
This standard specifies the determination method of icariin in health food products. This standard is applicable to the determination of icariin in health food products primarily made from epimedium. The detection limit of this standard is 4×10-4 g/100 g when the sample amount is 1.0 g, the volume is adjusted to 50 mL, and the injection amount is 10 μL. The quantification limit is 1.2×10-3 g/100 g. The linear range of this standard is 2 μg/mL to 125 μg/mL.
