LS 8010-2014 Code for design of vegetable oil depot

Scope

This standard specifies the general principles involved in the design of vegetable oil storage facilities, including site selection, general layout, storage and transportation processes and equipment, fire safety, water supply and drainage, environmental protection, electrical installations, heating and ventilation.
This standard applies to the design of new, expanded, and renovated aboveground vegetable oil storage facilities that use welded steel vertical fixed-roof tanks.
This standard does not apply to vegetable oil storage facilities that use non-welded steel tanks, nor to the design of warehouse-type, underground vegetable oil storage facilities and auxiliary tanks in production workshops.
In addition to complying with this standard, the design of vegetable oil storage facilities should also meet the requirements of current national standards.
