Scope

This part of GB/T 3780 specifies the determination of the heat loss of carbon black by oven method (Method A), moisture balance method (Method B), and infrared moisture meter method (Method C). Among them, Method A is the arbitration method.
This part is applicable to carbon black for rubber, acetylene carbon black, and pigment carbon black, and also to the preparation of sample drying conditions before other tests on carbon black are conducted.
