Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage for heat exchangers such as marine coolers, condensers, heaters, and evaporators.
This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of heat exchangers for lubricating oil, fuel oil, hydraulic oil, heat transfer oil, seawater, fresh water, steam, air, ammonia, lithium bromide, R22, and R134a (or other refrigerants) with a design pressure not exceeding 2.5 MPa and a medium temperature not exceeding 350℃.
