Scope

This standard specifies the detailed operational requirements for gas chromatography analysis of heavy hydrocarbon components in natural gas, so as to calculate the hydrocarbon dew point of natural gas using a suitable state equation.
This standard applies to natural gas with a maximum dew point temperature (critical condensation temperature) of 0 °C to -50 °C, and a pressure at the maximum dew point of 2 MPa to 5 MPa.
