Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, and storage of marine flange cast steel steam pressure relief valves (hereinafter referred to as pressure relief valves) in accordance with GB/T 569 and GB/T 2501 for flange connections and sealing surfaces. This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of pressure relief valves used in marine steam piping systems with a temperature not exceeding 300 °C.
