Scope
This document specifies the requirements, test methods, and test conditions for valves used in ship pipelines (hereinafter referred to as "valves"), as well as their marking, protection, packaging, and storage. This document is applicable to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of shut-off valves, check valves, poppet check valves, swing check valves, gate valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, and plug valves used in ship pipelines of the PN series and Class series. Other valves may be implemented in accordance with this document.
