Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the water filtration rate of paper and paperboard. This standard applies to filter paper and paperboard with certain wet strength, but not to filter paper and paperboard that have been processed with resin and whose surfaces are hydrophobic or not fully hydrophilic.
