Scope

This standard specifies the models, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certification of solid welding wires and filler wires made of titanium and titanium alloys.
This standard applies to solid welding wires and filler wires made of titanium and titanium alloys (hereinafter referred to as welding wires) used in welding processes such as metal inert gas shielded arc welding (MIG), tungsten inert gas shielded arc welding (TIG), plasma arc welding, and laser welding.
