Scope
This part of GB/T 5059 specifies the determination of silicon content in molybdenum iron by the sulfuric acid dehydration gravimetric method and the silicon-molybdenum blue spectrophotometric method.
This part is applicable to the determination of silicon content in molybdenum iron. The determination range (mass fraction): Method I: sulfuric acid dehydration gravimetric method, 0.50% to 2.50%; Method II: silicon-molybdenum blue spectrophotometric method, 0.01% to 1.00%.
