This standard specifies a method for determining the yellowing value of paper, cardboard, and pulp based on the Kubelka-Munk theory by measuring their light scattering and light absorption coefficients.
This standard is applicable to white and near-white paper, cardboard, and pulp, but not to those containing fluorescent whitening agents.
