Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, general requirements, specifications, test methods, inspection rules, marking, support, transportation, lifting and relocation, and storage for fiberglass reinforced plastic flue gas ducts (hereinafter referred to as FRP flue gas ducts) used in coal-fired power plants.
This standard applies to FRP flue gas ducts used in coal-fired power plants for transporting desulfurized flue gas, with an operating temperature not exceeding 80 °C, a diameter of not less than 4.0 m, a connection type of flat-end butt joint, horizontal overhead installation, and non-mobile operation.
