Scope
This document specifies the general technical requirements, configuration requirements, functional and performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and appendices, packaging, etc. of the control and protection monitoring system (hereinafter referred to as the device) of the chain-type static synchronous compensator (hereinafter referred to as the chain-type STATCOM). This document is applicable to chain-type STATCOMs with voltages of 6kV and above in power generation, transmission, distribution, and electricity consumption systems. Chain-type STATCOMs of other voltage levels can refer to this document for implementation.
