Scope

This standard specifies the working environment, performance requirements, structural requirements, protective technology design, warning and marking requirements, quality inspection, and acceptance rules for large-scale (with a standard body diameter of not less than 8 m) marine data buoys. This standard applies to the design, production, factory inspection, and type testing of large-scale marine data buoys (hereinafter referred to as "large buoys"). The construction of marine data buoys with different diameters can be used for reference.
