Scope

This section specifies the terms and definitions, method principles, instrument requirements, test procedures, calibration and traceability of measurement values, result calculation and judgment, and reporting for the determination of particle content in gases.
This section is applicable to the determination of particle size and content in gases transported through pipelines. The detection range of particle diameter is 0.1 μm to 10 μm.
This section is not applicable to bottled gases and gases existing in liquid form.
