Scope

This regulation applies to the initial and subsequent verification of single-phase and three-phase prepaid AC energy meters (referred to as prepaid meters) with a reference frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz.
For other energy meters with prepaid functions, the same verification items shall be implemented in accordance with this regulation.
This regulation only applies to prepaid meters that implement prepaid electricity payment by reading a mobile storage medium (referred to as the medium).
