Scope

This part of GB/T 20887 specifies the classification and designation methods of hot-rolled duplex high-strength steel plates and strips, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This part is applicable to the production of automotive structural parts and reinforcements using steel strips with a thickness of no more than 8 mm, as well as steel plates cut transversely from steel strips and longitudinally cut steel strips (hereinafter referred to as "steel plates and strips").
