Scope

This part of GB/T 20887 specifies the classification and designation methods of high yield strength steel plates and strips for hot rolling and cold forming, as well as the ordering content, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This part is applicable to high yield strength hot-rolled steel strips for cold forming, as well as steel plates cut transversely from steel strips and longitudinally cut steel strips (hereinafter referred to as "steel plates and strips").
