Scope

This document specifies the product classification of deformed aluminum and aluminum alloys, the energy consumption limit grade of unit products, technical requirements, and the scope and calculation method of energy consumption statistics. This document is applicable to the calculation and assessment of energy consumption (hereinafter referred to as "energy consumption") of unit products in enterprises producing deformed aluminum and aluminum alloys such as ingots, plates, strips, foils, pipes, rods, profiles, wires, and forgings for general industrial use, as well as the energy consumption control of new projects. This document is not applicable to the energy consumption calculation and assessment of aluminum and aluminum alloy products manufactured by special processes such as powder metallurgy and injection molding, or those used in special fields such as aviation and aerospace.
