Scope

This standard specifies the ordering content, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates for cold-rolled stainless steel plates and strips used in building roofs and curtain walls. This standard applies to cold-rolled wide strips (hereinafter referred to as wide strips) and their cut-to-size plates (hereinafter referred to as cut-to-size plates) with a thickness of 0.3 mm to 4.0 mm, as well as longitudinally cut cold-rolled wide strips (hereinafter referred to as longitudinally cut wide strips) used in building roofs and curtain walls.
