Scope

This part of GB/T 26548 specifies the test method for measuring the handle vibration of straight-shaft angle grinders, and determines the type test procedure for determining the magnitude of handle vibration when the machine equipped with the specified test wheel is operated in an idle state.
This part is applicable to handheld machines driven by compressed air or other means, which use type 1 flat grinding wheels, type 4 double bevel grinding wheels, and type 16 (with a core conical grinding head), type 18 (with a core cylindrical grinding head), type 18R (with a core hemispherical grinding head), type 19 (with a core elliptical conical grinding head) core grinding heads and wire brushes to perform grinding and surface finishing operations on various materials (see Chapter 5). The measured results are used to compare the vibration levels of machines of the same type but different models.
