Scope

This part of GB/T 26548 specifies the test method for measuring hand-transmitted vibration at the handle of hand-held power-driven punching and shearing machines and scissors, and determines the type-test procedure for determining the magnitude of vibration at the handle when operating the machine under specified test conditions. The results obtained are used to compare the vibration magnitude of machines of the same type but different models.
This part is applicable to punching and shearing machines and scissors (see Chapter 5) driven by compressed air or other means for cutting metal plates or composite material boards.
Note: To avoid confusion between "power tools" and "insertion tools", this part uses "machines" throughout to replace "power tools".
