Scope
This standard specifies the test conditions, comparison samples, test items and methods, as well as test reports for the comprehensive performance of automatic ultrasonic inspection systems for steel pipes and steel bars (generally including ultrasonic detectors, ultrasonic probes, and drive devices). This standard is applicable to the comprehensive performance testing of automatic ultrasonic inspection systems for steel pipes and steel bars (including phased array ultrasonic inspection systems). For the comprehensive performance testing of automatic ultrasonic detection systems at the ends of pipes (or bars) and electromagnetic ultrasonic automatic detection systems, this standard can be used as a reference.
