Scope

This part of YY/T 1477 specifies the in vitro model for evaluating the hemostatic performance of contact wound dressings.
This part is applicable to evaluating the hemostatic performance of sheet-type contact wound dressings that claim to have hemostatic properties.
Note 1: This part recommends the use of human blood. If animal blood is used, it must be confirmed first.
Note 2: Given the different forms and hemostatic mechanisms of in vivo hemostatic dressings, as well as the complexity of in vivo use, this model can only be used for screening and evaluation after being confirmed.
Note 3: Other contact wound hemostatic dressings that are not managed as medical devices can also refer to this standard after being verified.
