Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the content of 2,2'-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane (BPA) in paper, cardboard, and pulp using liquid chromatography. This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of 2,2'-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane (BPA) in various types of paper, cardboard, and pulp. The detection limit of the method is 0.05 mg/L when calculated in terms of concentration, and 0.5 mg/kg when calculated in terms of mass.
