GB/T 16895.37-2025 Low-voltage electrical installations—Part 8-82:Functional aspects—Prosumer's low-voltage electrical installations

Scope

The requirements and recommendations set forth in this part of IEC 60364 apply to low-voltage electrical installations that are either connected to or not connected to the power distribution network, and can operate under the following conditions:
—— Using a local power source, and/or
—— Using a local power storage unit.
And they monitor and control the local power source they are connected to and transmit electrical energy to:
—— Electrical equipment, and/or;
—— Local power storage units, and/or;
—— The power distribution network.
Such electrical installations are referred to as production-consumption electrical installations (PEIs).
All requirements and recommendations in this document apply to new installations and modifications to existing installations.
This document also sets forth requirements and recommendations for safety, efficiency, and normal operation when integrating PEIs into smart grids.
Note: Requirements for the power supply of safety facilities are given in IEC 60364-5-56.
Appendix B provides relevant information needed for interaction with the power grid to ensure the stability of the PEI electrical system during grid connection.
This document covers stability-related requirements for both isolated PEIs and standalone PEIs.
