Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural components and models, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation, and storage of animal carcass degradation processors. This standard applies to animal carcass degradation processors (hereinafter referred to as processors) that use microbial strains to degrade materials such as animal carcasses and convert them into organic fertilizer raw materials. Other organic waste processors may refer to this standard for implementation. Animal carcasses and related animal products that have died from major animal diseases and zoonotic diseases shall not be processed using this method.
