GB/T 27552-2011 Destructive tests on welds in metallic materials—Microhardness testing of welded joints
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the microhardness test of the cross-section of welded joints of metals with large hardness gradients. The Vickers hardness test is performed according to ISO 6507-1, and the commonly used test force range is 0.98 N to less than 49.03 N (HV 0.1 to less than HV 5).
Note: The hardness test should ensure that the maximum and minimum hardness of the weld metal and the two sides of the base metal (where the two sides of the base metal are made of different metal materials) are measured.
The test forces used in the weld hardness test specified in this standard do not include those greater than or equal to 49.03 N specified in ISO 9015-1.
This standard is not applicable to the hardness test of narrow welded joint samples, such as laser welded and electron beam welded joints.
This standard is applicable to the microhardness test of the cross-section of welded joints of metals.
