Scope
This standard specifies the test methods and requirements for the mechanical and electrical performance of spark plugs for spark-ignition gas engines in road vehicles. This standard applies to spark plugs for spark-ignition gas engines (including dual-fuel engines). Note: Gas includes compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), liquefied natural gas (LNG), and other combustible gases.
