Scope
This standard specifies the performance test methods for the lip seals of automotive recirculating ball power steering units (hereinafter referred to as seals).
This standard applies to high-pressure swing seals and low-pressure swing seals installed on the output shaft and input shaft of automotive recirculating ball power steering units that perform forward and reverse movements.
