Scope

This document specifies the environmental parameters, deformation, seepage, stress, strain, temperature, hydraulics, strong vibration, and other monitoring of the dam safety monitoring system, as well as the monitoring automation system, the collation and compilation of monitoring data, and the analysis results. It also sets out the acceptance requirements for the monitoring information management system.
This document is applicable to the acceptance of safety monitoring systems for Class I, Class II, and Class III dams, as well as high dams with a dam height of over 70 m, or medium and low dams with complex monitoring systems. The dam classification is implemented in accordance with GB 50201.
