Scope

This standard specifies the design standards, printing specifications, usage methods, and vision statistical methods for vision charts.
This standard is applicable to general physical examinations for children aged 3 and above, adolescents, and adults; the determination of distance and near vision for physical examinations such as admissions and recruitment; and the screening of vision disorders. It can also be used as a reference in ophthalmology and optometry clinics.
