本文件给出了用作检验灯在灯座中使用安全性的试验方法。
本文件适用于各种类型的内装式杂类灯座(用于装有附录A所列各种灯头的普通照明光源、投影灯、泛光灯及街道照明灯)。
本文件还适用于与灯具成为一体的整体灯座，但只涉及灯座的要求。
本文件也适用于装入一个外壳及与类似螺口灯座的圆顶结为一体的灯座。这类灯座进一步试验按照IEC 60238的相关条款进行。
