Scope

This part of GB/T 17850 specifies the particle size range, apparent density, Mohs hardness, moisture content, electrical conductivity of leachate, water-soluble chloride content, and particle adsorbate content of special type sand abrasives made from steel slag for jet cleaning.
The requirements specified in this part only apply to unused abrasives, not to used abrasives.
The test methods for non-metallic abrasives used for jet cleaning are specified in GB/T 17849.
