Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the residues of oxytetracycline, tetracycline, chloramphenicol, and doxycycline in milk and milk powder by liquid chromatography-ultraviolet detection.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the residues of oxytetracycline, tetracycline, chloramphenicol, and doxycycline in milk and milk powder.
The method's detection limits in this standard are: 5 μg/kg for oxytetracycline and tetracycline in milk, and 10 μg/kg for chloramphenicol and doxycycline. For milk powder, the detection limits are 25 μg/kg for oxytetracycline and tetracycline, and 50 μg/kg for chloramphenicol and doxycycline.
