Scope

This document specifies the interoperability architecture and functional requirements of interoperable entities, interoperability routing analysis requirements, interoperability protocol requirements, interoperability media processing requirements, and interoperability service requirements between different operators' IMS networks. The interoperability between IMS networks specified in this document refers to the direct network interoperability between IMS networks of different operators in China over IP bearer networks. The technical and security requirements for interoperability between operators' IP bearer networks are not within the scope of this document. The interoperability between IMS networks specified in this document does not include interoperability of IMS-based 5G messages or roaming between IMS networks. This document is applicable to interoperability between different operators' IMS networks.
