Scope
Main technical content: This standard specifies the conditions of use, technical requirements, testing, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and product documentation for grounding sets connected to the neutral point of generators via transformers (referred to as grounding sets). This standard applies to steam turbine generators (including nuclear power units) and hydroelectric generators with a rated voltage of 27 kV or lower, a rated frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, and a high-resistance and high-impedance grounding method via transformers. The grounding sets of other units can be implemented with reference to this standard.
