本文件确立了分配系数(正辛醇-水)的高效液相色谱(HPLC)法试验的试验原理，规定了受试物信息、参比物、试验准备、试验程序、质量保证与质量控制、数据与报告内容的要求。
本文件适用于测定lgPow值在0~6的化学物质的分配系数，特殊情况下也可扩展至lgPow值在6~10的化学物质；不适用于强酸、强碱、金属络合物、与洗脱液发生反应的化学物质和表面活性剂。
