Scope

This standard specifies two methods for measuring the color of fluorescent samples—spectral photometry and photoelectric integration, as well as the method of presenting the measurement results.
This standard applies to the relative measurement of the color of reflective fluorescent samples that emit light in the visible range.
This standard does not apply to the measurement of the color of electroluminescent samples, chemiluminescent samples, and phosphorescent samples; nor does it apply to the measurement of fluorescence characteristics in chemical analysis applications.
