本标准规定了焊接与切割用保护气体的型号、技术要求、试验方法、复验和供货技术条件等内容。
本标准适用于钨极惰性气体保护电弧焊(141)、熔化极气体保护电弧焊(13)、等离子弧焊(15)、等离子弧切割(83)、激光焊(52)、激光切割(84)和电弧钎接焊(972)等工艺方法(括号中的代号参见GB/T 5185)用保护、工作和辅助气体及混合气体(以下简称“保护气体”)。
