This standard applies to protective, working, and auxiliary gases and gas mixtures (hereinafter referred to as "protective gases") used in welding and cutting processes such as tungsten inert gas shielded arc welding (141), gas shielded arc welding (13), plasma arc welding (15), plasma arc cutting (83), laser welding (52), laser cutting (84), and arc brazing welding (972) (the codes in parentheses refer to GB/T 5185).
